Drug name: Guarem

Therapeutic effect of Guarem: Guarem is used to treat diabetes. It has hypocholesterolemic (reduces the level cholesterol in the blood), hypolipidemic (reduces the amount of lipids in the serum), and hypoglycemic (reduces the amount of sugar in the blood) properties. Guarem also restricts the absorption of cholesterol Cholesterine, bile acid and glucose in the intestine. This drug also reduces the level of sugar and cholesterol present in the blood.

Indications: Guarem is administered to treat:

• Diabetes (along with other medicines)
• High blood cholesterol levels (Hypercholesterolemia)
• Too much body fat (Obesity)
• Rapid gastric emptying (Gastric dumping syndrome)
• Presence of high levels of protein in the blood (hyperproteinemia)

Precautions and Restrictions: Do not use this drug if you have one of the following conditions:

• high sensitivity to the components of this drug
• mechanical bowel obstruction
• esophageal strictures

Before beginning the treatment the physician must control the amount of cholesterol and sugar in the blood.

Side effects of Guarem: Users of Guarem may experience some adverse reactions that are wholly or partly unintended. These side effects are only a distant possibility and there are no prior proven records of such effects being caused by Guarem.
