Oncology

Oncology is a field of medical science devoted to understanding and fighting cancer.

Tumor or cacroid is a pathological overgrowth of tissue. Most frequent types of tumor in men is lung cancer and in women cancer of the mammary gland. Oncological disorder is a long-term, chronic process that develops in the organism for decades.

During its development the tumor is not accompanied by painful expressions. Through many years a person can not know about a tumor developing in his body due to complete absence of symptoms. The activity of the tumor formation depends on may factors firstly it is the state of biological defense of the organism. The fast development usually starts when the immunity decreases.

At the current time the appearance of tumors is linked with disorders in the genetic structures in the cells. The biggest role in which plays the environment or the level of pollution: appearance of cancerogens in the air, water, food products, clothing, insolation and the level of radiation in the inhabited environment. The conditions of work and connected with it insalubrity also has its effect. Scientifically has been proven that smoking is connected with lung cancer, stomcah cancer with alcohol abuse, hot food and irregular eating, excess amounts of animal fat, uncontrolled usage of medication and frequent stress on the work place and in personal life.

IT is considered that every case of cancer is unique. Meaning that the development is preceded by many factors:

  • Ecological
  • Genetical
  • Viral origin

Personal predisposition and the effect of the irritant also plays a great role in the process. However some of the tumors are passed from a generation to the other and are not related with environment influence.
