Therapeutic effects of Tamsol: Tamsulosin, the active ingredient of Tamsol, belongs to a group of medicine called alpha blockers. This substance helps in urination by relaxing the prostate and bladder neck muscle, and widening the arteries and veins.

Indications: Tamsol capsules are given to treat urination dysfunctions caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Precautions and Restrictions: Do not use this medicine if the below mentioned circumstances applies to you:

  • If you are increasingly sensitive to the ingredients of this medicine
  • If you are already using other alpha blockers
  • If you are about to undergo surgery, specially eye surgery
  • If the user is a young infant
  • If you suffer from severe kidney insufficiency
  • If you have low blood pressure
