Active Ingredients:

• Vardenafil

Therapeutic effects of Vardenafil: Vardenafil tablet is made of the active ingredient vardenafil. Its mode of action is inhibition of phosphodiesterase. Phosphodiesterase is crucial in breaking down cyclic GMP in the blood vessels which relaxes the blood muscles and thus the blood flow to the penis is increased. This leads to an erect and rigid penis. By blocking this enzyme, the breakdown of cyclic GMP is stopped. This causes the blood vessels to be dilated for a longer time, thus extending the time of erection.

Indications: Vardenafil tablets are administered to men to treat erectile dysfunction (Impotence)

Precautions and Restrictions: Do not use Vardenafil tablets if the following conditions apply to you:

• Allergic to the components of this medicine
• If the user is below 18 years or age
• If the user is a women
• If you suffer from acute liver failure
• If you suffer from chronic renal failure
• If you suffer from a condition in which the cells lining the intestine cannot take in the sugars (Glucose-galactose malabsorption)
• If you suffer from serious heart related ailments such as heart failure, unstable angina
• If you had heart attack in the recent past
• If you suffer from hypotension
• If you are using nitrate medications such as antiarrhythmics, glyceryl trinitrate
• If you have a stroke
• If you have family history of retinitis pigmentosa
• If you are using medicines called Poppers such as butyl nitrate, amyl nitrate

Before using this medicine talk to a doctor if:

• You are an elderly person
• You suffer from nay renal diseases
• You suffer from liver disorder
• If you suffer from any heart and blood vessels related disorder
• If you suffer from a condition in which the aortic valve does not open fully (aortic stenosis)
• If you suffer from haemophilia
• If you have any ailments associated with the stomach such as peptic ulcer
• If you have any penis related deformity such as Peyronie's disease, severe curvature
• If you suffer from bone cancer that leads to priapism

Warning!

• Users of Vardenafil tablets may experience dizziness and drowsiness, so they should not drive or operate machinery till this condition lasts.
• Use Vardenafil tablets only on empty stomach.
• Observe caution while using Vardenafil with grape juice as this may increase the risk of side effects.
• Do not use more than one Vardenafil tablet per day.
• Talk to a doctor if the erection continues for more than 4 hours.

Side effects of Vardenafil tablets: It is common to see people using medicines experiencing side effects. The most common side effects caused due to Vardenafil tablets are:

• Problems of sight
• Photophobia
• Disorders related to stomach
• Stuffy nose
• Cephalalgia
• Flushing
• Erection that is long and painful
• Syncope

Maintain caution while have the following medicines:

• Rifampin (Rimactane, Rifadin)
• Phenytoin (phenytoin), phenobarbital (Luminal), or carbamazepine (Tegretol)
• Medicines used to treat HIV such as amprenavir (Agenerase), tipranavir (Aptivus), darunavir (Prezista), efavirenz (Sustiva), nevirapine (Viramune), indinavir (Crixivan), saquinavir (Invirase, Fortovase), lopinavir/ritonavir (Kaletra), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), ritonavir (Norvir), atazanavir (Reyataz), or nelfinavir (Viracept)
• Drugs used for treating disorder of heart rhythm such as amiodarone (Cordarone, Pacerone), quinidine(Quinidex, Quinaglute), procainamide (Procan, Pronestyl), or sotalol (Betapace)
• Ketoconazole (Nizoral) or itraconazole (Sporanox)
• Clarithromycin (Biaxi) or erythromycin (E-Mycin, Eryc, Ery-Tab)
• Terazosin (Hytrin), prazosin (Minipress), or doxazosin (Cardura)
• Cimetidine (Tagamet HB, Tagamet)
