Therapeutic effect of Essentiale: Essentiale is a group of essential lipids (phosppholipides) that is used for the normalization of lipid and protein metabolism, to remove the toxins from the liver, activate certain enzymes and receptors and to restore the cellular structure of the liver. Our body is well equipped to produce all the necessary phosppholipides, but in case of some liver ailments if our body becomes in-capable of producing the necessary phosppholipides the same can be compensated by taking medicines like Essentiale. A defective liver leads to defect in liver cell function, fat and protein metabolism and a defective liver can also lead to hepatic steatosis.

Indications: Essentiale is used to treat the following:

• Excessive collection of fat in the liver (Hepatic steatosis)
• Serious inflammation of the liver (acute and chornic hepatitis)
• Poor liver function and scarring of liver (Cirrhosis)
• Premature death of the liver cells
• Deteriorating brain function due to non removal of toxic substances from liver (Hepatic encephalopathy)
• Liver damage due to presence of toxins
• Pre and postsurgical treatment
• Skin condition that causes skin redness and irritation (Psoriasis)
• Lichen simplex chronicus (Neurodermatitis)
• Radiation sickness

Precautions and Restrictions: Avoid using Essentiale if:

• you are highly sensitive to any of the ingredients used to make Essentiale
• if a patient is a newly born child or a pre-mature baby

Do not dilute Eseentiale with electrolytes when taken intravenously and do not inject this drug into a muscle as Essentiale may create some local irritation.

Side effects of Essentiale: The use of Essentiale may cause some side effects in users, but it was not proven that these side effects will affect every user of this drug. Some of the potential side effects of Essentiale include the following:

• Various allergic reactions
• Diarrhea
