Drug name: Choliver
Active Ingredients:
- Bile extract,
- Curcuma longa(Turmeric) extract and Cynara scolymus(Artichoke) extract
Therapeutic effect of Choliver: The healing properties of Choliver have a lot to do with the ingredients used to make it. Each ingredient has its own set of properties and effects. The bile extract in Cholicer induces the secretion of bile juice which results in better synthesis of cholesterol, lipids and better absorption of Vitamin A, D, E and K. The Curcuma longa extract too improves bile secretion and also aids the digestive process and decreases the cholesterol levels. This ingredient also has antibacterial properties. The third ingredient, Antichoke extract, possesses diuretic properties and it decreases the Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), helps to eliminate toxic substances and regulates metabolism.
Indications: Choliver is used for the treatment of:
- Constipation
- Ulcers of the stomach and intestine
- Low output of urine caused due to poor liver function and heart failure
- Biliary dyskinesia
- Inflammation of the gallbladder
- Infection of the bile duct
- Diseases of the Hepatobiliary System
Precautions and Restrictions: Never use Choliver if you have the following:
- Jaundice
- Severe inflammation of the liver (Acute Hepatitis)
- Liver failure
- Liver dystrophy
- Allergic reaction to Choliver or its ingredients
- If you are pregnant or a breast feeding mother or a child below 12 years of age, consult a doctor before taking Choliver
