Active Ingredients:
- Bisoprolol
Therapeutic effect of Concor: Concor drug with Bisoprolol as its active ingredient is an effective drug that reduces blood pressure and also depresses plasma rennin levels. Bisoprolol belongs to a highly beta1-selective beta-adrenoceptor antagonist with low beta2-receptor affinity. This drug is also used to treat chest pain and discomfort caused by stress. Concor does this by lowering the need for oxygen by the myocard.
Indications: Concor is used for the treatment of the following condition:
- Chronic heart failure
- Chest pain due to ischemia
- Abnormally high blood pressure
Precautions and Restrictions: It's inadvisable to use Concor if you have:
- Diseases related to the respiratory tract like Bronchial asthma
- Sudden drop of blood pressure
- If the user is very young
- Lower heart rate
- Various heart rhythm disorders
- Heart conductibility dysfunction
- Allergic reactions to Concor or other similar substances
- Shock
People with the following conditions can use Concor with caution:
- Skin condition that causes skin redness and irritation
- Angiospatic stenocardia
- Conditions in which there is too much acid in the body fluids
- Diabetes
Side effects of Concor: With medicines like Concor there is always a distant possibility of some kind of adverse effect that is unexpected. As stated above these side effects are only a distant possibility and there is no prior proven records of such effects due to use of Concor.
Some of the adverse effects that may occur while using Concor are:
- Excessive sweating
- Irritation of the skin
- Itching
- Sexual dysfunction
- Lowered tolerance to hypoglycemia, glucose
- Arthropathia
- Myasthenia
- Gastro intestinal reactions like constipation, stomach pain, etc
- Certain respiratory system related disorders
- Cardio vascular disorders like peripheral swelling, bradycardia, hypotension
- Swelling or infection of the membrane lining the eyelids
- Decreased lacrimation
- Sight related disorders
- Disorders related to the central nervous system like depression, sleeplessness, vertigo, and fatigue
