Drug name: Linex
Active Ingredients:
- Bifidobacterium infantis v. liberorum,
- Lactobacillus acidophilus,
- Streptococcus faecalis.
Therapeutic effect of Linex: Lactobacillus acidophilus is the most common probiotic. These "friendly" bacteria live in the intestines of vagina to protect them against "bad" organisms. When the destructive organisms enter and propagate inside the ill organs, various diseases may develop.
Indications: Linex is administered to treat the following:
- To prevent and treat infectious diarrhea caused by various microorganisms, especially rotavirus.
- To substitute good intestinal bacteria that are destroyed by antibiotics
- To enhance the functioning of the digestive system
- To control diarrhea caused due to long term use of antibiotics
- To sustain the adequate amount of bacterial in the lower intestines
- Dyssynergic defaecation, bloating, etc
Precautions and Restrictions: Avoid using Linex under the following circumstances:
- If you experience any problem in the intestine, stop using this medicine. But if your medical care provider suggests continuing this medicine then you can use it.
- Do not use Linex if you're pregnant or a nursing mother, unless advised to the contrary.
