• Pinaverium Bromide

Therapeutic effect of Dicetel: Dicetel with Pinaverium Bromide as its ingredient belongs to a class of medicines called gastrointestinal spasmolytics. Dicetel has chemicals that disrupt the movement of calcium through calcium channels especially in muscles of the small intestine, large intestine and the bile passage. This drug increases the stomach's clearing function and also lowers the secretion of HCl (Hydrochloric acid).

Indications: The Spasmolytic effect of Dicetel is used to relieve pain and improve motility in abdominal symptoms after surgical removal of the gallbladder, movement disorder of bile, biliary colic, abdominal pain, presence or formation of gallstones in gall bladder or bile duct, spasmodic contraction of the pylorus, inflammation of the small intestine, inflammation, irritation or swelling of the esophagus, inflammation of the duodenum, inflammation of the lining of the stomach, infection of the bile duct, inflammation of the gallbladder that causes severe abdominal pain.

Dicetel is also used to treat disorders that lead to abdominal pain, cramping and changes in bowel movement, constipation, diarrhea, sensation of incomplete evacuation etc. This disorder is known as Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Precautions and Restrictions: Do not take Dicetel before sleep and it's not advisable to use this drug if you're highly sensitive to Pinaverium Bromide or similar substances. Dicetel should be taken with caution if a patient is a young infant. Pregnant or breast-feeding women should consult a doctor before taking the drug.

Side effects of Dicetel: There is always a distant possibility of some kind of adverse effects that are wholly unintended. These side effects are only a distant possibility and there are no prior proven records of such effects being caused by Dicetel. Some of the adverse effects that may occur are:

• Constipation, nausea, indigestion or other digestive system related disorder
• Allergic reactions like itching and rashes
