Therapeutic effect of Glirid: Glirid is one of the most used oral hypoglycemic drug. It belongs to the Sulfonilamides drug group. The working mechanism of the drug includes secretion of insulin from pancreatic β-cells and it has direct effect on peripheral tissues because of the secreted insulin.
