Active Ingredients:

• cyproterone, ethinyl estradiol.

Therapeutic effect of Diane-35: Diane 35 is the combination of two ingredients, Cyproterone and Ethinyl estradiol. Diane 35 is used as an oral contraceptive. It possesses anti-androgen properties. This drug works by suppressing the ovulation process, the drug prevents the release of egg from the ovary and also changes the viscosity of the cervical mucus, thereby making the process of implanting the egg cell very difficult.

One of the ingredients of this medicine, Cyproterone, reduces the effectiveness of the male sex hormone, androgen, hence this drug can also be used to treat androgen dependent ailments. Diane 35 has many other functions - it can decrease hyperactive oil glands and reduce seborrhea and acne. This drug can also be used for treating hair loss and also is an effective treatment of Frazonism. Diane 35 can also reduce the pain caused by menstruation, reduce the risk of anemia and reduce psycho-emotional distress.

Indications: Diane 35 is used for:

• Preventing pregnancy
• To ease the symptoms of androgen dependent ailments like alopecia and acne.

Precautions and Restrictions: It's not advisable to use Diane 35 if you have the following conditions:

• If you're intolerant to Diane 35 or its ingredients
• Bleeding of the vagina
• Tumor in the liver
• Mammary gland tumor and Genital tract tumor
• Jaundice and other liver ailments
• Vascular complications in diabetics
• Various types of severe cardio vascular diseases
• Blood clot diseases
• Pregnancy
• Breast feeding

Before taking Diane 35 talk to a doctor if you have one of the following: chloasma, anemia, kidney failure, systemic lupus erythematosus, diseases of the digestive system, bile passage congestion, any type of liver and kidney disorder, epilepsy, severe headaches, inflammation of the veins, obesity, any cardio vascular disorder or if you are a smoker.

Side effects of Diane 35: There are certain side effects of Diane 35 that may affect some people. But it is not certain that these side effects will take place in all people.

• Allergic reactions
• Loss or gain of weight
• Abnormal accumulation of fluid in the circulatory system or within the tissues or cavities of the body
• Vaginal secretion changes
• Vomiting
• Nausea
• Contact lens intolerance
• Changing sex drive
• Discharge from mammary gland
• Headache
• Decrease in mood
• Pain in the mammary gland
