Active Ingredients:

Therapeutic effect of Klion: Klion is an anti-protozoal and anti-bacterial drug that interferes with DNA synthesis and prevents the multiplication and eventually causes death of the microorganism. Klion is very effective against protozoa such as Giardiasis, Amebiasis, and Trichomonas vaginalis. This drug is also very effective against bacterial infections.

Indications: Klion tablets are used to treat infections such as:

  • Fulminant amoebiasis
  • Collection of pus in the liver caused by an intestinal parasite (Amebic liver abscess)
  • Infection that is sexually transmitted and caused by Trichomonas vaginalis (Trichomoniasis)
  • To prevent infection before, during, and after undergoing colorectal surgery
  • For treating erythema of rosacea, pustules, and inflammatory papules.
  • To prevent infection in people undergoing abdominal surgery, gynecologic
  • To treat Crohn's disease
  • To treat hepatic encephalopathy
  • To treat Gardnerella vaginalis, giardiasis

Precautions and Restrictions:

  • Avoid using Klion tablets if you are highly sensitive to the active ingredient of this medicine.
  • Similarly, do not use this medicine if you are using to treat trichomoniasis during Pregnancy First trimester.

If you have the following conditions then sue Klion with caution:

  • Breast feeding
  • Blood dyscrasias
  • Thrush
  • Liver diseases
  • Disorders of the central nervous system

Side effects of Klion: This medicine is known to have possible side-effects that may affect users in various ways. However, every stated side effect may not occur in all users who use Klion tablets. Some of the common side effects of Klion are:

  • Problems affecting the central nervous system such as exhaustion, damage to nerves of the peripheral nervous system, convulsions, Sleeping disorder, in-coordination, vertigo, lack of order, impairment in spatial perception and stability, and cephalalgia.
  • Problems of the gastrointestinal system such as cramps, stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting, urge to vomit, anorexia, and metallic taste in mouth.
  • Hematuria, involuntary leakage of urine, and painful urination.
  • Irritation of skin at a particular location, dry skin, burning sensation, reddening of skin, and swelling of a vein caused by a blood clot.
  • Thrush, serious reactions related to the use of this medicine with alcohol
