Therapeutic effects of Venlaxor: Venlaxor belongs to serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor class of drugs, better known as anti-depressants. As the name suggests, the drug has an inhibiting effect on serotonin and noradrenalin reuptake. It has a slightly stronger effect than tricyclic anti-depressants but very similar in effect.
Indications: Venlaxor tablets are used to treat patients with depressive disorders and to prevent recurring depressive syndrome.
Precautions and Restrictions: It is not advisable to use Venlaxor tablets if the below mentioned conditions applies to you:
- Increased sensitivity to the ingredients of this medicine
- Concomitant use of Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)
- Acute kidney and liver insufficiency
- Pregnancy
- Lactation
- If the user is below 18 years old

- Thrombocytopenia
- Oedema
- Abnormal flow of blood or Hemorrhage
- Agitation
- Cardiac dysrhythmia
- Numbness
- Decrease in body weight
- Tachycardia
- High blood pressure
- Pyrexia
- Unpleasant dream (Nightmares)
- Stomach ache
- Severe allergic reaction (Anaphylaxis)
- Low blood pressure
